   1. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they are eligible and possess the required qualifications to perform the services, supported with relevant documentation (detailed in the document to be availed to Consultants upon request via email on pdu@uegcl.go.ug)
2. The short-listing criteria will include:
a) Eligibility Requirements;
(i) Valid Trading License or equivalent
(ii) Certificate of registration / Incorporation or equivalent
(iii) Valid certificate in quality management systems from an international standard certification body (e.g. ISO 9001 Quality Management Certificate or equivalent)
(iv) NEMA certification:
b) Minimum Required Experience;
Evidence of carrying out at least three (3) ESIA for large infrastructure projects in the past 10 years, including at least two (2) projects concerning the construction or rehabilitation of a large Hydropower Power Plant with at least one (1) in Africa.
c) Minimum Required Financial Resources;
Recommendation from your bankers on the ability to mobilise financial resources of at least Euro 200,000 as and when required.
d) Minimum Personnel requirements.
(i) Demonstrate capacity in terms of human resources (detailed in the document to be availed to Consultants).
(ii) Access to local representatives/partners with required skills
e) Minimum quality standards
Evidence of acceptable quality certifications
3. Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a Joint Venture to enhance their experience. The form of association, where applicable, should be indicated in the Expression of Interest.
4. Only shortlisted Consultants shall be considered for Requests for Proposals.
5. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information at the address given below from 09:00am – 04:00pm on working days.
6. Sealed Expressions of Interest with one original and three copies (One searchable pdf copy of the complete EOI shall be submitted on external drive (memory stick/flash drive) with the proposal. Ensure that separate digital copy provided is consistent with the content of the hard copy) must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00 am on Friday 9 August, 2024.
