General Directorate of Antalya Water and Wastewater Administration-ASAT has been established in February 18, 1995 regarding to Ministry Council decision 94/6516 within the framework of Law No. 2560. (related to municipalities and water and wastewater administrations)
Duties and responsibilities; To supply drinking and industrial water needs from all kinds of underground and aboveground sources and to distribute To collect wastewater, transferring to wwtps and discharge to receiving environment according to regulations. To collect storm water and transferring to out of the settlement areas. To establish the related facilities and execute operational activities. To prevent the water resources, sea water quality from all kinds of pollution and to take all kinds of technical, administrative and legal measures. Regarding to water and wastewater services, to execute all related duties on behalf of Metropolitan Municipality. |
